1998 - The Orange County-based band started out as One-Eighty with their release CrackerJack.
Their sound was pop-punk/ska/swing with female vocals, not unlike No Doubt, Save Ferris, and Dance Hall Crashers.
1999 - they changed their name to Flight 180 due to legal issues. Their second release Lineup was
a swing project they put out by popular demand, which was caused by the success of the swing influenced song "Tick
Tock" off of their first album. Unfortunately, the name change and the swing project only caused confusion for the band. When
they toured with the Supertones in the fall, few fans knew that Flight 180 was the same band as One-Eighty,
and then with Lineup, everybody thought they had become a swing band, which was not true.
2000 - Jerry Elekes, Dave Des Armier, John Anderson left the band. Josh Keller filled in on bass and
the band played the Ignite Christian Music Festival in Chicago, IL.
2001 - Their third album Girls and Boys was released, which returned to the style
heard on Crackerjack, albeit leaning towards a pop-punk sound. Backing vocalist Madelyn Mendoza was no longer
an official member of the band, but was featured on the album.
2002 - Trombonist Josh Brisby left the band, resulting in the complete loss of
the horn section and ska sound altogether. Flight 180 began working on a new album that year, but it
never came into fruition. Their new website was up for a short time and had a new single called "Boys Punk World", but their
site went down a few weeks later.
2003 - It was announced on
http://cmcentral.com/ that
Flight 180 had officially broken up and formed a new group called "
She Said
No!" with Kim Tennberg on vocals, Mason on guitar, Chris Tennberg on bass, and Jamin Boggs on drums.
2004 - She Said No! released a 2-song EP featuring the songs "Boy's Punk World" and
"Anyone Else". Kim also had her second daughter, named Berkley Love Tennberg the same year.
2005 - She Said No! went on hiatus.
2006 - former Flight 180 members Dave Des Armier, Jerry Elekes, and Jamin Boggs formed
a new band called Feel The Fall.
2011 - Kim Tennberg returned with a new website, a news update, and a new band called Alyson's
Anthem. Slowly but surely, they continue to play locals shows in their hometown in Hawaii, and are now working
on their debut abum.
