About the band:
The Insyderz are a six piece Ska-punk band from Detroit, Michigan. The band started out as just Joe and Nathan,
and the members kept coming in until finally, the Insyderz were formed in 1995. They bring the Motor City thunder
and the Detroit Rock City attitude to their music, and also the message of Christ. They are all involved in
the Salvation Army, and are very sincere about their Christianity. Worship music has always been a big part of what they
do, so their Skalleluia! series is not considered a worship project, but just as much a part of their music as their original
albums!
They went on hiatus from 2000 - 2002, but in 2003 they returned with Michael Lloyd replacing Kyle Wasil on guitar,
and released a new album Soundtrack to a Revolution. They continued to tour until late 2005, when they decided to
call it quits.
Due to popular demand, the band reformed in 2009 with a new lineup, although Joe, Nate, and Alan are the original members
still in the band. Their facebook page serves as their official website. They are currently playing local shows in the
Metro Detroit area, and are working on a new album The Sinner's Songbook, which is still awaiting enough financial
backing from fans to complete. If successful, they will record and release the album by the beginning of 2012 and will continue
to play shows.
