Here's the story: I have been a musician since age 10. (11 years) My instrument has always been
percussion. I was in school band throughout middle school and high school. In college I majored in Music Education for
2 years, but got out of it because it wasn't what I wanted to do.
But now, I still love music. I love listening to it and also playing it. I love to jam! I still
know all the other percussion instruments I learned, but right now I mainly stick to drumset.
The best thing a musician can do is take private lessons from a good instructor, practice
as much as possible, and play everywhere and anywhere they can. Just get out there and show what you got. You will get better
with each experience.
